Grandview’s 230-acre Oakland Ranch to hit the auction block in May – Dallas Business Journal

A 230-acre North Texas ranch designed for outdoor living and entertaining will hit the auction block next month.

Oakland Ranch, located on the outskirts of Grandview, 20 minutes outside of Fort Worth, will be offered at a luxury no-reserve auction on May 19. Supreme Auctions is handling the sale process in cooperation with Debbie Murray of Allie Beth Allman & Associates, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.

Bidders will have a chance to snap up an estate that features a 12-acre lake, rose garden, swimming pool, tennis court, skeet shooting range and an additional man-made fishing lake stocked with bass, bluegill and catfish.

Another offering that sets Oakland Ranch apart is a massive outdoor entertainment venue built for large gatherings, including weddings. The area is complete with a performance stage.

Oakland Ranch’s acreage can also be used for farming and ranching, and features riding trails, pastures, a barn, corral and livestock gates.

As potential buyers head inside, the property’s home was built in traditional Georgian style and includes five bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and three half bathrooms across 9,232 square feet. Additional amenities include a wine cellar and 3- to 4-vehicle carport.

“The location is phenomenal, as Oakland Ranch is an hour from Dallas International Airport and 15 minutes from Cleburne regional airport, which services private jets and helicopters,” Murray said in a prepared statement. “Due to its versatility, anything is possible. In addition to being a private residence, the ranch could be used as a corporate retreat, event venue or even a bed and breakfast.”

More details on the property’s auction are available here. The estate has previously been listed for $8 million.
